Salt Lake City, UTAH – The President of SEO.com steps down to take a new position with Desert Digital Media.
David Bascom, CEO and President of SEO.com announced his resignation on Monday but will continue to be part-owner of the company and act as an advisor.
“I helped build this company to a point where it’s established,” said Bascom. “SEO.com has an amazing team and incredible leadership…I’m confident SEO.com will have even more success in the future.”
Bascom created the company, originally named Web Targeted, in 2003 from his basement. He renamed the company in 2007 with Mike Mann and obtained the SEO.com domain. Since then, it was all uphill.
SEO.com helps clients improve the traffic to their sites by providing highly aggressive SEO strategies, pay per click management and other techniques that improve the success of businesses. Their clients include both small business owners and Fortune 100 companies.
Mann will now become the acting CEO of the company and he has named Nelson James, former vice president of client services, as the president.
The company has received numerous accolades since its creation. It was named one of the top 10 SEO firms in the nation by PromotionWorld and the Number 2 SEO firm by Website Magazine, just to name a few.
“I want to thank Dave for bringing SEO.com to where it is today,” said Mann. “He has done an incredible job. His efforts to date have, and will, perpetually benefit the charities we support, which is extremely important and the main impetus for all of my work. With Nelson, we will carry on the tradition of providing great results for clients, and we will continue to grow.”
